Airtel Launches Bomba Moni

One of the leading GSM Operators in Sierra Leone, Airtel yesterday launched the “Airtel Bomba Moni” to facilitate swift cash transaction among its numerous subscribers nationwide.
In his statement at the launch of the new offer at the Airtel Head office, IMMAT, the Managing Director (MD) of Airtel Sudipto Chowdhury noted that “Bombo Moni” is an Airtel money offer to enable the Airtel subscribers talk to other subscribers at 50% lesser rate for 7 days.
He explained that to enjoy the offer the customer simply needs to use Airtel money to keep his or her money, or do cash transaction. He said that all types of Airtel money transactions will automatically enable the customer’s number to call other Airtel customers at 50% reduced call rate. The MD also noted that those buying Top-up cards will also receive 100% bonus.
He further explained that with Airtel Money, Airtel customers can safely deposit money into their mobile wallets and use it to buy airtime for themselves or for another Airtel prepared subscribers. They can transfer money to any phone owner across the network nationwide, and can also buy goods or pay services at supermarkets, mini marts, restaurants, and groceries, electronic and other shops, fuel stations, etc.
Customers can also pay electricity bills, deposit money into or withdraw from one bank account and also withdraw money from their mobile wallets when necessary. The Airtel boss further maintained that, with the new offer, subscribers can pay subscriptions at DSTV, send allowances, family support, staff salary donations, etc.
The Manger, Airtel Money, Joseph Tengbeh informed the gathering that, Airtel mobile company is committed to bringing Sierra Leoneans to a better life by creating value for their money. He encouraged all subscribers to make use of the new offer and benefit from the enormous rewards.
The meeting was chaired by the Corporate Affairs Manger, June Rose Johnson who lauded the press for their continued support to Airtel and called for lasting relationship.
