“I’m Grateful To President Koroma” -Musa Tarawally Says

The former Minister of Lands, Country Planning and the Environment Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally has told the people of Moyamba district that he was very grateful to His Excellency President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for given him the opportunity to serve in his administration, both as Resident Minister South, Minister of Internal Affairs and Minister of Lands, Country Planning and the Environment.

Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally described President Koroma as his elder brother and political mentor. He praised President Koroma for his genuine love for him and contribution to his political growth which he has used to promote Islam and support his Muslim brothers across the country.

Last Friday (4th November, 2016), Islamic leaders from across the four corners of Sierra Leone, accompanied Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally to perform Jumah or Friday prayers with the people of Moyamba district, where he hails from.

Muslim scholars and leaders praised Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally for his unwavering support to Islam and his determination to ensure that Muslims play a key role in the development of the country.

Eventhough Hon. Musa Tarawally is no longer in the government the people say they still love him for his stewardship and his determination to promote Islam in every nook and cranny of Sierra Leone.

Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally made it very clear that, the Hajj (Pilgrimage) which he performed this year has nothing to do with politics.

He praised Africa Muslim Agency for facilitating his trip to Mecca and by even encouraging him to perform the Hajj.

Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally called on his audience to continue to support his ‘elder brother’, President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma to continue to govern the country in the interest of every Sierra Leonean.
