JIC To Make Substantial Investment in Sierra Leone

Plans are in place for substantial investments to be made in a number of important sectors in Sierra Leone commencing in Q1 2017.

JIC (SL) Limited, a Sierra Leone company which is 100% owned by the international Gibraltar based asset management company, JIC Holdings, is to start a number of projects in Sierra Leone in agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, energy (renewable and conventional), mining and banking.

The first project will centre on a major hybrid rice project to be set up over a period of 3 years.

Mark-Anthony Johnson, the CEO of JIC (SL) Limited stated that in the next 12 months the company will also invest in eco-hotels, small scale mining and create infrastructure, all of which will bring much needed employment to Sierra Leone.
