Kenya Airways (KQ) have suspended all inbound and outbound flights to and from Sierra Leone indefinitely as a result of the Ebola outbreak.
Kenya Airways is the third and biggest regional carrier to suspend operations in Sierra Leone. Arik and Asky had both suspended operations in Sierra Leone after the outbreak of the Ebola virus disease in May this year.
A major European carrier, British Airways had suspended operations in Sierra Leone for a period of one month. They are expected to resume operations in Sierra Leone next week, according to a BA Spokesman in London.
Brussels Airlines and Air France have continued uninterrupted schedule flights into the Lungi International Airport (FNA).
