In his inaugural address at the National Stadium on Saturday 12th May, 2018 His Excellency President Retired Brigadier Julius Maada Bio said that his government had launched three peaceful democratic wars on Indiscipline, Corruption and Poverty. He said under his administration, it will no longer be the “Business-As-Usual Politics and Governance of the State”.
The President said, “I therefore call on our young people, our youth, to be at the forefront in promoting peaceful democratic wars on indiscipline, corruption and poverty. My administration will invest in our youth to create jobs and new opportunities to develop themselves and their families. We will provide the resources and skills training needed to empower our youth so that they are able to make meaningful contribution to the development of our country today and become future leaders tomorrow”.
