Leading oil marketing company, National Petroleum (NP-SL) has opened a new filling station outlet on Peninsular Road, Hamilton on Saturday as part of the company’s expansion project in an effort to make petroleum products available and accessible all over the country and continue to be the leading pack in the downstream sector.

The Managing Director of the Divine Petroleum Limited, David Sannoh said he was relying on the National Petroleum for a great and sustainable partnership that would see his establishment succeed in what he described as contributing to national development and employment in the community.

He said he felt grateful to make an impact with such an establishment in a densely populated community like Hamilton with very few filling stations and petroleum products, and promised to contribute to more towards national developments through his establishments.

David Sannoh said that each tank for both diesel and petrol is carrying 23,000 liters. He added that the community deserves a good standard filling station with big tanks that can serve the entire community. He further promised to curb the usual fuel hoarding which some unscrupulous dealers are engaged in.

The Head of Compliance and Standards at the Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA), Jayah K. Mauna urged the indigenous oil marketing company to take its expansion project to more deprived and hard-to-reach communities in the country and to enhance mobility in terms of petroleum products.

The Sales Manager at NP-SL, Vandy Bockarie said that the proprietor of the Divine Petroleum Limited made a good decision to partner with NP-SL and assured their new partner of steady and viable partnership in the downstream sector.
