The Chairman, executive members and party stakeholders of the SLPP Kono District have embarked on a large scale sensitization and stock-taking tour of the district.
According to the charismatic SLPP Chairman Kono District, Mr Safea Leslie Moiwa, they are on a mission to inform and sensitize the people of Kono about ongoing government projects in the district and those on the pipeline and most importantly to get in touch with the people to know their needs and also to monitor the progress and quality of various government projects within the district.
It would be recalled that a few weeks ago, President Bio donated motorbikes, PA system and cash to the SLPP Kono district executive to boost them to undertake such a laudable venture.
A senior member of the executive said they are tasked with the responsibility of visiting over 100 villages and towns within Kono District. He confirmed that they have already started the sensitization and stock-taking tour.
The delegation started their tour in Kamara Chiefdom, Constituency 028 in towns like Tombodu, Seme-Koidu, Teseyima, Peyiema, Nemesedu, Sukudo, Wardu, Jaima and Kamadu. The tour continues.
