Investigations conducted by the Registrar of Njala University show that the Director of Administration and Human Resource at NATCOM (National Telecommunications Commission) Mr. Braima Kargbo (Abacha) did graduate with the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture General (Division Two) with Distinction in Project. โI can confirm that he (Braima Kargbo) is a bona fide holder of the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture General from Njala University Collegeโ, the University Registrar, Dr. Muneer Jalloh confirmed yesterday.
The NATCOM Director of Administration was recently accused of being in possession of fake undergraduate and post-graduate certificates. All along, Mr. Kargbo has insisted that the allegation is absurd and is โa pyramid of nonsenseโ.
An independent investigation conducted by the Global Times Newspaper shows that, Mr. Braima Kargbo holds a Master of Business Administration in Innovative Management from the British Institute of Information Technology and E-Commerce.
On 9th May, 2022, Mr. Braima Kargbo, out of his own volition, decided to step aside from his position of Director of Administration and Human Resource to allow for an independent investigation to be conducted by the Board of Directors of NATCOM into the allegation of certificate fraud published on several social media platforms.
A certificate verification audit has been ordered by the Director General of NATCOM, Mr. Daniel Kaitibi. Several employees of NATCOM have been asked to step aside until the process of certificate verification is concluded.
A source close to the investigating committee confirmed to the Global Times last night that, Mr. Kargboโs certificates โare authenticโ.
