The Sierra Leone police is currently on the lookout for Sylvanus S. Cole who was among those recently arrested for riotous conduct and robbery alongside popular hip hop rapper, Alhaji Amadu Bah, alias LAJ.
Although Cole was released on police bail and never charged to court alongside the others, he was reported to have shared some pictures that exposed the police manhandling suspects at the Operational Support Division (OSD) headquarters of the Sierra Leone Police.
According to police, Cole was released on the grounds that he was not caught in the vehicle where LAJ and others, who were alleged to have beaten up a fuel station attendant and took away some money, were loaded.
According to the police, Cole committed subterfuge by secretly taking photos of their operations and made it public, thereby exposing them to public hate and insecurity.
Eleven of those that were arrested together with Cole were chaged to court and subsequently imprisoned for three years each.
The ring leader, LAJ 1s still facing trial in the magistrate court and if found wanting, would be given a maximum sentence of fifteen years. Cole will face possible court charges and if found guilty will be given a serious jail term, according to the laws of Sierra Leone.
