The Julius Maada Bio Womenโs Wing & Associates has enormously supported the Presidency of His Excellency Brigadier (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio before and after the 2018 elections. This group of women, led by the First Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, unequivocally supported Brigadier Julius Maada Bio and his message as the only qualified candidate to lead the SLPP, through campaigning and financial supports, and until today are doing just that.
The JMBWW & Associates has been providing assurance of right place spending and motivating people to donate funds; this has been attributed to the hard work of a very determined team. The works of the JMBWW & Associates include the Ramadan feeding exercise, feeding inmates at correctional centers, donations to central mosques and the SLPP Mosque in Freetown. This has led to more women to come together to continue to support President Bioโs vision and dreams for our beloved country Sierra Leone.
The JMBWW & Associates in the United States of America, to continue to support His Excellency Brigadier Julius Maada Bio, will embark on launching the organization, with a fundraising dinner and dance in New Jersey, USA. The event will take place on September 24th, 2022 at the Royal Grand Manor, 2863 WOODBRIDGE AVENUE, EDISON, NEW JERSEY 08837 from 8PMET to 3AMET. Tickets prices are: Regular $100.00, Patron $200.00, Chief Patron $500.00 and Grand Chief Patron $1,000.00.
Speaking to the Chairman of the JMBWW & Associates North America, Mrs. Agatha N. Demby, in her kitchen as she prepared a sumptuous meal for her family, Mrs. Demby was very enthusiastic, saying that she is working with committee leaders to ensure that this event brings people from all walks of life to prove that President Julius Maada Bio is still the peopleโs choice as President of Sierra Leone. The committees, she went to say that are divided into four: Organizing/planning chaired by Mrs. Aminata Amara; Fundraising Committee chaired by Mrs. Fatmatta Dausy Wurie; Hospitality chaired by Ms. Doris Bangura and the Publicity Committee chaired by Ms. Geneba BM Koroma.
Later, this writer caught up with the Organizing Secretary, JMBWW & Associates, Mrs. Aminata Mabondo Amara. Smiling, she said, โthis is not the first time, I am involved in organizing events like this, and I will do my utmost to ensure that the Organizing team collaborates with all committees to make this launching very successfulโ. The Deputy PRO, Ms. Christiana N. Koroma, also had a telephone conversation with the hospitality chair, Ms. Doris Bangura and she was assured of measures the committee is putting in place; including working with the SLPPNA New Jersey chapter membership.
The First Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio on a Zoom call with the JMBWW & Associates members, assured all that she will give whatever support to ensure that the event is a success in the USA. This assurance energized the members and had them working day and night to ensure the best fundraising event ever.
The JMBWW & Associates North America is all poised to receive the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Rtd. Brigadier Julius Maada Bio, First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, Government Officials, Diplomats, Members of Parliament, Non-Governmental Organizations, Foundations and Businesses in the USA, Friends of Sierra Leone, Social organizations, and representatives of all Political Parties in Sierra Leone to grace this unique event, on September 24th, 2022.
