National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) yesterday celebrated global customer service week, calling the attention of the public to the importance of customer service and its value to the scheme.
Customer service week has been celebrated by the scheme during the first full business week in October, the Director General of NASSIT, Mohamed Fuad Daboh announced at a ceremony held at the NASSIT Western Region Office in Freetown.
In the last four years, Mr. Daboh said NASSIT has engaged this week in several activities; including giving gifts and donating to orphanages, increasing accessibility to the scheme and so much more, as he elaborated on the importance of customer service and NASSIT staff that serve and support customers daily.
So far in NASSITโ€™s 20-year existence, Mr. Daboh said this yearโ€™s event was aimed at celebrating the relationship between the scheme and all workers in Sierra Leone โ€“ the reason for which NASSIT exists as a pension trust.
