The General Manager of Skye Bank (Sierra Leone) Limited, Ikubolaje Nicol, has been arrested and detained at the CID Headquarters in Freetown for allegedly murdering his girlfriend who happens to be an employee of the bank.
Police investigators have retrieved exhibits showing that the lady Sinnah Kai-Kargbo was allegedly brutally murdered. The corpse has been taken to the Connaught Hospital in Freetown for post-mortem examination.
Some relatives of the accused including his father and domestic staff have been questioned and released, according to reports. The incident allegedly took place at the residence of the accused person at Gloucester.
Staff at Shuman Hospital on Pultney Street and Columbia Davies Funeral Home are assisting the Police with their investigations.
Investigations continue.
