A sub-contractor working for Kingho Mining Company in Lunsar, Yusuf Kargbo, trading as Roy Global (SL) Limited is being investigated by CID personnel in Freetown for allegedly failing or refusing to pay the sum of US$6000 (Six thousand US dollars) to Mr. Ronald Michael Domingo of Maryland, USA.

Mr. Kargbo has so far failed to pay Mr. Domingo the said sum of money for a transport vehicle allegedly entrusted to him to manage on commercial basis. Mr. Kargbo has admitted to CID personnel that he entered into a genuine business transaction with Mr. Domingo and has promised to pay the sum of US$6000. But the terms of payment are not favorable to Mr. Domingo.

A joint complaint was made by Mr. Domingo and Madam Makavore to the CID against Mr. Kargbo. When contacted, Mr. Kargbo said he does not know Madam Makavore but he did not deny knowing Mr. Michael Domingo.

When the Global Times contacted Mr. Kargbo for his own side of the story through an SMS message, he replied, โ€œI donโ€™t know who you are but go ahead. Iโ€™m sure there is a code of ethics to Journalismโ€.

CID personnel in Freetown confirmed that they have spoken to Mr. Kargbo and he was cooperating with their investigations.
