Reports reaching this newspaper state that Miss Rebacca Kafo Mandewa, formerly of 23 Teneba Road in Kuntorloh in the east of Freetown, is now on the run fearing for the safety of her life after she was declared wanted by the Police for suspected murder, incitement against the government and arson while she is also wanted by campainers against homosexuals and lesbians because of what they described as her acts of unforgivable abomination against the society.
According to our source, Miss Rebecca Kafo Mandewa who is believed to have exhibited lesbian tendencies at a very young age, was forced into a marriage in order to cure her of the abominable disease, a union in which she had two children.
The source also disclosed that some time in late 2022 Rebecca abandoned her husband and children and was reported to be living with her lesbian partner, a lady named Miss Doris Scott.
The source further stated that sometime in early February 2023, the anti homosexual and lesbian campaigners received information that Rebecca was getting married to her girl friend, Doris, at a secret location in the mountains of Kuntorloh.
The source revealed that the campaigners and some community members stormed the location where the lesbian wedding was taking place and physically attacked the people who were gathered there.
He further explained that Rebecca and Doris were captured and mercilessly beaten, during which Doris sustained serious injuries that led to her death three days later while Rebecca disappeared from the community and has never been seen since.
Our source further told us that Rebecca was also the Organising Secretary for the main opposition All Peoples Congres (APC), and was appointed as Campain Manager for the party during the campaign for the Presidential, Parliamentary, and Local Government elections that were to take place on 23 June, 2023.
He further explained the campaigns, Rebecca made statements that were regarded as inflammatory and inciting against the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP), statements that made her a target of the Government.
He further explained that late one night, Rebecca’s house was set on fire in which her grandmother and a sickly uncle reportedly died.
He further stated that while the anti homosexual and ledbian activists were pursuing Rebecca, the Police also issued a warrant for her arrest.
In an interview with a Senior Police Officer at the Kuntorloh Police Post, he confirmed that they are looking for one Rebecca Kafo Mandewa who is suspected to have killed one Doris Scott, set her family house on fire as well as inciting people to rise against the government.
He stated that the Police is appealing to the public to give them information that will lead to her arrest for her to face justice.
He also disclosed that there is a reward of twenty thousand New Leones (NLe 20, 000. 00) to be given to any person that will give them information that will lead to the arrest of Rebecca Kafo Mandewa.
The source concluded that the anti homosexual and lesbian activists are also searching for Rebecca all over the country and they have vowed that they will kill her the day that they catch her in order to cleanse the land of her abomination.
