The re-elected Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Rtd. Dr. Abass Chernor Bundu has urged all Presidential nominees to expedite the submission of all information required of them to the Clerk of Parliament without further delay.
Dr. Abass Bundu made the call yesterday at the first sitting of the Sixth Parliament of the Second Republic.
This, Dr. Abass Bundu said, is in order to facilitate the work of the Appointments Committee in Parliament. He called on Presidential nominees to endeavor to submit all necessary documents through the Clerkโ€™s office. According to Speaker Dr. Abass Bundu, this will lessen the work that is required of Parliament. The committee will start interviewing Presidential nominees today.
To those that are friends and relatives of appointees, the Speaker urged them to please let them know that they have to come to Parliament as urgently as possible.
