Amidst the high cost of living in the country, the former Vice President Dr Victor Bockarie Foh over the weekend on 16th December 2023 at the SLPP district office in Bo donated bags of rice, three cartons of tomato, two bags of onion and two five gallons of vegetable oil worth thousands of Leones and cash of three thousand Leones to members of SLPP Long Bench in Bo city.
Dr Victor Bockarie Foh said the gesture was just a helping hand to the SLPP Long Bench family in Bo city noting that the purpose of the donation was not to demonstrate wealth but in fulfillment of his humanitarian assistance to needy people especially members of the SLPP Long Bench.
He expressed profound thanks and appreciation to the SLPP Long Bench family for overwhelmingly re-electing President Dr Julius Maada Bio in June this year. Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh also appealed to them to be patient with President Bio amidst the current global economic crisis.
The former Vice President Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh further paid his registration fee as member of the SLPP Long Bench stating that he is now a member of Long Bench in Bo city.
The Secretary General of SLPP Long Bench Bo Branch thanked Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh for the donation adding that they are no stranger to the profuse generosity of the former Vice President Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh describing the donation as timely.
