Magistrate Saantigie Bangura has adjourned the alleged treason case between the State against the former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma to the 6th March, 2024 for hearing.
This is in line with a motion order filed at the High Court by Defense Counsel with regards to the medical health condition of the accused Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, granted by a Court of Appeal Judge Justice Samuel Omodele Taylor.
The matter was mentioned yesterday at the Pademba Road Magistrate Court No.2 by the Principal State Counsel Ahmed James (AJM) Bockarie in the absence of the accused.

Defense Counsel presented copy of a medical report from a renowned medical practitioner, together with the High Court orders and the two sureties.
The State Prosecutor, AJM Bockarie said the absence of the accused had deprived the State from proceeding with the matter.
