The Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Rt. Hon. Dr. Sidie Mohamed Tunis has concluded a crucial diplomatic endeavor aimed at addressing the current political stalemate in Senegal. The mission, conducted on the 12th and 13th of February 2024, sought to assess the challenges surrounding the postponement of the Presidential elections and provide recommendations to safeguard peace, stability, and democratic processes in Senegal.
