The purpose of the visit was to discuss the need for the Western Area to benefit from NaCSA’s projects and other activities they are involved in for purposes of poverty reduction.
In his submission, the Deputy Speaker acknowledged the work of NaCSA in the development of the country and went on to inform the Commissioner that majority of the Commission’s projects are being implemented in the provinces especially those that are supported by World Bank and other international organizations. The Deputy Speaker said he wanted NaCSA to implement some projects in the Western Area. “Most of the social safety net projects of the Commission are being implemented in the provinces”, he stated.
