The Honourable Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, last Friday, joined worshippers at the National Stadium practice field in Freetown for Eid ul-Fitr prayers, marking the end of Ramadan. His presence among citizens during this solemn occasion reflected shared devotion and collective reverence.
Following prayers, Dr. Juldeh Jalloh commended imams for leading what he described as a peaceful, spiritually uplifting congregation. He offered supplications for enduring peace and stability across Sierra Leone, emphasizing unity and mutual responsibility as cornerstones of national cohesion.
Ramadanโs prayers, fasting, and acts of sacrifice, he noted, hold profound spiritual weight. He urged citizens to sustain values of compassion, tolerance, and solidarity well beyond the holy month.
The Vice President also requested continued prayers for President Julius Maada Bio, the government, and all Sierra Leoneans, reaffirming the administrationโs resolve to confront national challenges while safeguarding peace throughout the country.
