The life of the Fifth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone is expected to end on Tuesday, 25th April, 2023.
His Excellency The President, Dr Julius Maada Bio is expected to officially dissolve the current Parliament on 25th April, 2023.
The current Members of Parliament were elected on a constituency basis except for the Paramount Chief Members of Parliament who do not represent constituencies but districts.
Members of the next Parliament (The Sixth Parliament) will be elected under the PR system.
General elections are to be held on 24th June, 2023.
