State House sources confirmed last night that, His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd) Dr Julius Maada Bio and spouse are expected to attend the lavish coronation ceremony of King Charles and his wife Camilla at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday, 6th May, 2023.

Buckingham Palace sources informed the Global Times last night that, President Bio has been invited to attend the Royal coronation ceremony in his capacity as head of state of a commonwealth member nation.

King Charles will be crowned alongside his wife Camilla who will, after the coronation ceremony, become known as Queen Camilla instead of the Queen Consort.

The last coronation ceremony took place in Britain exactly 70 years ago when Charles’ mother Queen Elizabeth ascended the throne after the death of her father in 1953.

President Dr Julius Maada Bio is expected to return home immediately after the coronation ceremony to continue governing the country.
