The newly appointed Director General of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), Chernor Mamoud Jalloh, on Monday, 14th September 2026, commenced a week-long operational tour to all NASSIT Regional, Operational and Investment sites across the country.
The first stop was at the NASSIT Sub-Office in Kono District, during which Mr Jalloh assured staff of Managementโs commitment to their welfare and service delivery, and outlined his vision to reposition the scheme for greater efficiency and impact.
The Director General also used the opportunity to meet with Paramount Chiefs, Section and Town Chiefs in the Kono District and appreciated them for their support to the scheme, and assured them of effective service delivery, integrity and prudent investment strides.
Over the next few days, the Director General will engage staff in all the regional offices to address challenges and strengthen the delivery of social security services to contributors and pensioners nationwide.
