Sierra Leone Paralympic Athletes Juan Faith Jackson and Sorie Kargbo have won two silver and bronze medals in the Tunis 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix which took place from Thursday, March 18th to Saturday, March 20th, 2021. Faith Jackson picked up the third position in the women’s F46 Javeline throw and second in the 100M T46. Kargbo won a Silver medal in 200M in Africa’s largest Para sport competition.
The Technical Committee in Tunisia has listened to the protest made by Sierra Leone on the issue of separating the athletes after competing in clustered classes. A decision was reached this night and Sierra Leone has been given its hard-won medals. Team Salone has collected three medals and one will be decided tomorrow.
