Sierra Leone Ambassador to Beijing, People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina who is also accredited to eleven other countries recently presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Singapore, Her Excellency Halimah Yacob. The presentation was done through a virtual meeting with the President of Singapore.

The presentation of Letters of Credence by Ambassador Ndomahina to the President of Singapore will continue to strengthen diplomatic ties between the two friendly countries.

Ambassador Ndomahina, who was appointed in 2018 by His Excellency, President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, has been in office for over three years, but Covid-19 outbreak in late 2019 put a halt to the presentation of his Presidential Letters of Credence to the other eleven countries to which he holds accreditation.

Singapore is one of the latest accredited countries to the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Beijing to have accepted the presentation of Letters of Credence to be done online making the official recognition of Ambassador Ndomahina as Sierra Leone non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore.

It would be recalled that both Countries were colonised by Great Britain in the early1960s.

Mainwhile, Ambassador Domahina is at present out of Station in Beijing on official engagement to other countries and his Deputy, Mr. Saffa Woya-Rogers is holding the forth.
