Speaking at the first-ever SLPP National Young Generation Unity Cocktail organised by Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Ambassador Chief Ernest M. Ndomahina at the prestigious Kona Lodge on Friday, 14th January 2022, the First Lady, Madam Fatima Bio called on party members and supporters to unite behind the party’s popularly endorsed flag bearer, Dr. Julius Maada Bio to deliver a resounding victory for the party on a first ballot (no run-off) in 2023.
Madam Fatima Bio made it very clear that the need for the party to come to together could not be overemphasized. She emphasized that as far as she is concerned there is no problem between her and the party’s former National Women’ Leader, Madam Fatmata Sawaneh.
The unity cocktail was organised by Ambassador Ndomahina to bring members of the Young Generation wing of the party together. “There are no winners and no losers… The biggest winner is the party”, Ambassador Ndomahina emphasized. The cocktail was attended by young generation leaders of the party across the country.
The party’s National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Musa Moiguah outlined his vision for the party and promised to roll out his plans for a membership drive in the party in the next coming weeks.
The Young Generation unity cocktail was attended by the Party’s National Chairman, Dr. Prince Alex Harding, a cross-section of Cabinet Ministers and supporters of the party. The call for party unity dominated the cocktail.
