On behalf of the Sierra Leone Peopleโ€™s Party National Young Generation Council, I, the National Young Generation Leader, greet all patriotic and responsible Sierra Leonean youth in UNITY, FREEDOM and JUSTICE
I will start by sympathizing with the bereaved families especially the Sierra Leone Police personnel who died in active duty in the hands of irate youths who were influenced by unpatriotic and irresponsible politicians.
We are driving home a central message: – that education is the most important asset that our youth should acquire; and that for the government to succeed in improving education, it must have the support of youth, teachers and parents alike.
We can only succeed as a nation if we build one another and build our country together.
For its part, the government of President Bio is taking the education system, which has been in crisis for several years to only get a facelift now during the New Direction admiration.. President Bio`s government has implemented the FREE QUALITY EDUCATION for children and youth regardless of tribe and region.
President Bio is doing all this because he knows that, without education, his efforts to provide jobs, better health facilities, water, electricity and other needs, will not be sustained.
But remember: at the end of the day, your progress will depend on how you apply yourselves to your work. The road to a better life demands hard work. It demands discipline, patience and responsibility.
This generation of youth stands on the border-line between VIOLENCE, TERRORISM and the future of prosperity, peace and harmony. Therefore, I urge all youths to support the path of prosperity, peace and harmony.
On behalf of the SLPPNYGC, I wish to say, that no one gets the attention of President Bio`s government more than the youths. We are the future leaders of which the future of this country is in our hands; thus it is our responsibility to make Sierra Leone a great country, to make our society a prosperous and caring nation.
I want to address a special plea to all Sierra Leonean youth:
And that is to join hands and assist government in dealing with the scourge of crime and lawlessness.
Resist the temptation to use drugs, and to be used by criminal syndicates in their drive to destabilize our Nation. Prove to the criminals and the lawless youths that they have no friends in our midst as youths. This applies to President Bio`s efforts to deal with the scourge of VIOLENCE.
Without peace, you cannot have proper education. Without peace, it will be more and more difficult to create jobs; business people will invest funds elsewhere; tourists will not come to this beautiful country.
I wish to assure you that President Bio, Leader of our party and President of the Republic of Sierra Leone remains in firm control of his commitment to stop violence and save lives. Those involved in violence, irrespective of parties they support, must face the full force of the law. Nothing will be allowed to stand in the way of this objective; because, peace and prosperity are what the people of this nation want. This is what we deserve.
God Bless SLPP NYGC
God Bless SLPP
God Bless President Bio
God Bless Sierra Leone
ONE COUNTRY, ONE PEOPLE!!!!
