The Southern Region Chairman of the Sierra Leone Peopleโ€™s Party (SLPP), Alhaji Kanja Sesay, has taken the voter registration sensitization and awareness raising campaign to Pujehun.
Mr. Sesay told thousands of people that the registration process was an important process in the country’s electoral cycle, adding that President Bio was confident of retaining power on evidence of his massive developmental strides. He urged the people to go out en masse to register with a view to making the Southern Region obtain the highest number of registrants.
Mr. Sesay assured the people of the confidence of President Bio and the SLPP ahead of the June 24 elections. He said his Regional Executive had put in place monetary motivation packages for districts and constituencies that would deliver the highest numbers of registrants.
He concluded by calling on all to remain steadfast in the SLPP cause and to take advantage of the process to register.
