His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio is expected to leave Freetown this morning on a four-day walking visit to Bo district in the Southern Region.
Today, President Bio would be received in Mano Dasse by the Resident Minister in the Southern Region, Mohamed Alie and a retinue of traditional leaders.
The President will depart Mano Dasse after breakfast for Bumpe in the Gao Chiefdom. He would hold a public meeting in Taninahun Banta before proceeding to Serabu, Bumpe town and retire in Bo City for dinner.
Tomorrow, His Excellency the President will visit Tikonko. He would meet with traditional leaders before visiting the health facility in Tikonko. The President will later visit Gondama, Telu and Gboyama where he is expected to spend the night.
On Day Three of the visit, President Bio will visit Jaiama chiefdom including Tikonko Chiefdom.
On the final day of the four-day walking visit, President Bio will visit Niagorehun, Kpeewoma, Jimmy Gbagbo and have dinner at Gbagbo Limba, the hometown of the former APC Vice President Dr Victor Bockarie Foh.
President Bio is expected to return home on Sunday.
