The Paramount Chiefs and Landowners of Marampa and Maforki Chiefdoms in the Port Loko district have refused to accept a new bauxite mining company in their chiefdoms.
The CTC Mining (SL) Limited allegedly secured their bauxite mining concession through fictitious means.
MPs are to investigate the process leading to the issuance of the bauxite mining licence to CTC Mining (SL) Limited.
Investigations continue.
