“Before the conduct of the June 2023 multitier elections, some members of the Interim Transitional Governance Committee (ITGC) of the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) party will go to jail,” Justice Adrian Fisher has said.
Justice Adrian Fisher said he knows all that is going on within members of the ITGC and that they will hear from him very soon.
“I have exercised lots of patience, and to those wishing to sabotage and undermine the process, your time is up and is high time you stopped casting blames on me and the Court,” Justice Adrian Fisher stressed in utter disappointment.
The Judge went on to state that he would find time to investigate members of the ITGC and anyone found culpable, will be punished.
Lawyer Jessie Munda Jengo, on behalf of the ITGC Chairman, Alfred Peter Conteh, pleaded with the Judge for punitive measures not to be handed down on his client.
Mr. Alfred Peter Conteh and other members of the ITGC were in court last Monday to listen to the application for enlargement of time into the APC Party Lower Level Elections filed by the Chairman of the Transitional Interim Electoral Management Committee (TIEMC) Mr. Ibrahim Sorie.
