The Prosecutor of the Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone (RSCSL) – Mr. James C. Johnson, accompanied by Madam Binta Mansaray – Registrar (RSCSL), Mr. Mohamed Bangura (Legal Adviser to the Prosecutor) and Mr. J.W Saffa (Protection Officer) paid a courtesy visit to the Inspector General of Police at Police Headquarters, on Monday 4th March, 2024.
Speaking to the Inspector General, the Prosecutor expressed his admiration for the tranquil quietness the country is enjoying, which he alluded to the excellent work of the Sierra Leone Police, led by the Inspector General of Police (IGP). He therefore used the occasion to thank the IGP for supporting the work of the Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone, at all times.
Responding, Mr. Sellu welcomed the Team to Police Headquarters and pledged commitment, on behalf of the Sierra Leone Police, to continue to provide the right security environment for development and a safer Sierra Leone; adding that he will always support the work and operations of the Court in Sierra Leone.
