𝐁𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚.
Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Court No.2 along Pademba Road in Freetown has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Ibrahim Bah, a staff of Sierratel, who is the second accused being a driver stationed at Mile 91 and Taiama site.
The first accused Daniel Moseray was present.
Both accused were at the last adjourned date granted one hundred thousand New Leones bail plus two sureties in like sum. Since then the second accused Ibrahim Bah has been at large.
Both accused Daniel Moseray and Ibrahim Bah face two counts of Larceny by Servant contrary to Section 17 (1) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the charge sheet on Count 1, the first accused Daniel Moseray on the 7th November 2023, at Sierra Leone Telecommunications site at Mile 91, Northern Province, being a staff and servant employed by Sierra Leone Telecommunications Company (Sierratel) stole certain properties belonging to Sierratel which includes radio unit, Hwawei microwave, one radio rack containing other items worth millions of Leones, property of Sierratel.
Count two states that the second accused Ibrahim Bah who is on the run stole the same items from the company worth millions of Leones.
DSP Sorie Conteh is prosecuting the matter. The
matter has been adjourned to the 23rd March 2024
