Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh welcomed Gabon President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema and First Lady Zita Oligui Nguema at Lungi International Airport on their arrival for an official visit aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries.
Vice President received the visiting delegation on behalf of President Julius Maada Bio and conveyed Sierra Leoneโs warm welcome as the Gabonese leader began his stay in the country.
After the reception, President Oligui Nguema and the First Lady greeted senior government officials and other dignitaries before completing arrival formalities.
The visit underscores cordial relations between Sierra Leone and Gabon and highlights both governmentsโ commitment to deeper bilateral cooperation in areas of shared interest.
Officials expect the visit to reinforce longstanding friendship between the two nations and open further opportunities for collaboration in regional development, peace and prosperity.
