His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio is expected to depart Freetown this week to attend the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Ahead of the UNGA High-Level Week, President Bio is expected to participate in high-level summits and engage bilateral partners on the fringes of the General Assembly.
The President is expected to address the UN General Assembly and lead discussions on the reform of the UN Security Council as Coordinator of the African Union Committee of Ten (C-10).
The Presidential delegation includes the new Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Rahman Swaray, who has already arrived in New York.
