One anti-Bio newspaper recently published a screaming headline claiming that, based on provisional voter registration figures released by one faction of the APC their Presidential candidate (Dr. Samura Kamara) had won the June 24, 2023 Presidential elections. This claim is at best preposterous. Even their figures do not add up.
Since the APC lost power in April 2018, the party has been in disarray. They have not provided any credible alternative to the SLPP. The party has developed a blurred vision for the country.
Since he was elected as President in April 2018, Brig. (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio developed an optimistic vision for the future of the country. In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, President Bio showed courageous leadership. He held the nation together.
Having realized that they would lose the June 2023 general elections, the APC have embarked on a new strategy to challenge the credibility of the outcome of the June 23 general elections. They are putting out unsubstantiated voter registration figures to prepare the minds of their supporters to reject defeat in June 2023. They are stirring up trouble in order to make the country ungovernable.
The leadership of the APC party is refusing to tell their supporters that they donโt stand much of a chance in the June 2023 elections. The APC are in a state of desperation. The party is in a state of bewilderment.
As general elections approach, the APC party has no idea, no plan, no message and no vision. They are behaving like desperate gamblers in a casino. They have nothing new to offer to the country.
President Bio is heading for an overwhelming re-election victory in June 2023. His vision for the country is clear and optimistic. He has the experience, the temperament, and a clear vision for a positive future for the country.
APCโs hope of returning to power in June 2023 is built on a hollow fantasy. They are no longer fit for purpose!
